Tank Sports Joins With Kids Korps and Starbucks Foundation to Participate in "Build a Bike"

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 6, 2006 -- Tank Sports (OTC BB: TNSP.OB - News) joined the Kids Korps USA and Starbucks Foundation on Saturday, Dec. 2nd to distribute bicycles to the local children from low income families in Solana Beach, San Diego County, California.

Kids Korps USA is a nonprofit youth volunteer organization that engages young people, ages 5 through 18, in community service. The Starbucks Foundation makes investments through its Youth Leadership Grants and supports locally based programs that promote the "Power of Literacy'' and "Leaders in Diversity.'' Both organizations are dedicated in non-profit charities that are helping the youth in the community. This joint event of Tank Sports, Kids Korps USA, and Starbucks Foundation was one of the programs for improving lives of local misfortunate children by distributing bicycles. Tank Sports provided the labor and bicycles while funding was provided by the Starbucks Foundation, and the event was coordinated by the Kids Korps USA. The distribution event included introduction of the Kids Korps, bike assembling demonstration, and distribution of bikes to the needy children. Tank Sports mechanics Dona Thach and Marco Chavez participated in the event joined by volunteers of the Kids Korps, who helped assemble the bicycles.

"We are dedicated to participating in such events to show our thankfulness for what society has given us, as well as to show our care to the community. Tank Sports will continue to contribute to the improvement of the community and participate in charity events like this,'' said Jim Ji, general manager of Tank Sports. Tank Sports started teaming up with Kids Korps to participate in charity events starting in April of 2003, and this is the 4th year of the event.
