GUANGZHOU, China, Feb. 22, 2007 -- Mr. Jiangyong Ji, Chairman of Tank Sports, Inc., and Ms. Jingjing Long, President of Tank Sports, Inc., today received a notice from Guangzhou, China that the construction of new motorcycle manufacturing plant called Guangzhou Tank Vehicle Co., Ltd will soon be completed. With the construction of the building completed, the next phase will be finishing the assembly lines and offices.
With a lot size of 380,000 sq ft and a building area of 240,000 sq ft, Tank's new manufacturing plant was built with a modern design and will be equipped with up-to-date machinery and equipment. It is estimated the capacity of the new plant is over 500,000 units per year. With the addition of this new manufacturing plant, Tank's manufacturing resource in China will be much stronger and can better support the marketing and sales of Tank On-Road and Off-Road products.
The original Tank manufacturing plant had obtained CQC ISO9001:2000 Certification from the China Quality Certification Center due to its production of high quality motorcycle products. Tank Sports Chairman Jiangyong Ji and CEO Jingjing Long are the founders of this plant, in which they together have its majority ownership.
